My husband and I have been to Los Cabos in Mexico twice, this year and last. Los Cabos is definitely has a different feel than other places in Mexico. It is very strange being in a desert area. It’s fun being in the midst of cacti. I also feel like you are less bothered as far as vendors in Mexico go compared to places such as Cancun. I really appreciate Los Cabos because you can go to San Jose and feel as you are truly experiencing authentic Mexico. We enjoy staying out there because it is much more laid back.
I love Minneapolis. Don’t get me wrong, I love to travel as much as the next person does, however Minneapolis is my home base. There is a lot to do. Great restaurants, bars, theaters, and of course, lakes. I love running around Lake Calhoun, and then heading over to Ben & Jerry’s for Ice Cream or to Jamba Juice for a smoothie. When I was new to town, it was fun to go to the sculpture garden to see the spoon and cherry among other things. Over the last few years, I have always worked close to MOA (Mall of America), so that is fun to go see what is going on at noon.
